Our Amish Porter Chairs also come with a range of design options — you can buy the chair with or without arms. It is constructed from solid wood, including the seat, and you can select what type of wood is used. Pick from Hickory, Rustic Cherry, Q.S. White Oak and more. Decide whether to keep the natural wood grain or give the chair a deeper hue with a stain. Stain selections include Boston, Michaels, Seely and many others.
Every piece of furniture sold by AmishOutletStore.com is made in the USA. Our experienced, dedicated team of Amish artisans learned how to make furniture using traditional methods by watching their parents and grandparents at work. They picked up techniques such as mortise and tenon jointing, and they continue to use these approaches today, skipping electric tools for hand and pneumatic models. These chairs, tables, sofas and more are of much higher quality than what you'd find at a traditional retailer.
Standard Residential Curbside Delivery is $249 per invoice and available to most zip codes in the contiguous United States. Your items will be delivered as close as possible to your home and unloaded from the truck. You are responsible for moving the furniture inside and all required assembly.
White Glove In-home Delivery is available for an additional $199. White Glove In-home Delivery includes the delivery company bringing your furniture into your home, placing it in the room of your choice, and fully assembling all pieces. We do not assemble baby cribs or furniture that must be mounted to the wall such as Murphy beds.
Your order may be picked up in person at our warehouse located in Smithville, Ohio if you prefer. Please bring a suitable vehicle and furniture blankets or wrapping material. Our furniture is not boxed or packaged in the warehouse.
If you are in Alaska, Hawaii, or outside of the U.S., please contact us for a shipping quote. The customer is responsible for all duty/customs fees.

Most of our furniture is delivered blanket wrapped by professional delivery companies. We partner with several Third-Party delivery companies that cover most of the Continental US. These professionals are well schooled in the handling and assembly of your Amish furniture.
All furniture should be inspected at time of delivery. Should you find that an item was damaged in shipping or defective in any way, we will, at our discretion, have the item repaired or replaced at no cost to you. We may request photos of the damaged or defective item. Damage claims are handled on a case-by-case basis.
