Reclaimed barnwood is an increasingly popular way to get the rustic look so many people love while also recycling old materials, keeping them from going to the landfill. This method is a win-win proposition for those who want furniture that tells a story. The wood used to make our Amish Barnwood 9-Drawer Dresser with Mirror in Reclaimed Barnwood had a first life in a barn. After the barn was torn down, the materials came to us to create new furniture.
Our artisans love working with these found materials. This wood offers a design challenge very different from working with new wood, yet it still creates the same outstanding product. Like all the furniture we sell, this dresser is made in the USA. All our indoor pieces are handcrafted from solid wood.
You can see the imperfections in each piece of barnwood if you look closely enough. Each one is slightly different, giving the dresser a unique visual appeal.
The artisans who create our furniture have been training for this for their whole lives. Amish children apprentice to their parents at a young age to learn their trade. They watch their parents and grandparents at work, and they imitate those techniques until they perfect them. The Amish use traditional woodworking methods such as mortise and tenon jointing. They never use electricity, instead creating each dresser, chair, table and more from hand or pneumatic tools.

Standard Residential Curbside Delivery is $249 per invoice and available to most zip codes in the contiguous United States. Your items will be delivered as close as possible to your home and unloaded from the truck. You are responsible for moving the furniture inside and all required assembly.
White Glove In-home Delivery is available for an additional $199. White Glove In-home Delivery includes the delivery company bringing your furniture into your home, placing it in the room of your choice, and fully assembling all pieces. We do not assemble baby cribs or furniture that must be mounted to the wall such as Murphy beds.
Your order may be picked up in person at our warehouse located in Smithville, Ohio if you prefer. Please bring a suitable vehicle and furniture blankets or wrapping material. Our furniture is not boxed or packaged in the warehouse.
If you are in Alaska, Hawaii, or outside of the U.S., please contact us for a shipping quote. The customer is responsible for all duty/customs fees.

Most of our furniture is delivered blanket wrapped by professional delivery companies. We partner with several Third-Party delivery companies that cover most of the Continental US. These professionals are well schooled in the handling and assembly of your Amish furniture.
All furniture should be inspected at time of delivery. Should you find that an item was damaged in shipping or defective in any way, we will, at our discretion, have the item repaired or replaced at no cost to you. We may request photos of the damaged or defective item. Damage claims are handled on a case-by-case basis.
