Too often, we think of futons as merely functional furniture. Most are cheaply made, with little concern for design or quality. The Amish Cortland is different. This piece is one you’ll be happy to display in your home, whether it’s in the guest room, the living room or anywhere else.
Solid wood construction and Mission-inspired design distinguish the Amish Cortland from its imitators. The piece’s frame is available in QS oak, flatsawn oak, cherry, brown maple and hickory and can be finished in a wide range of stains. Also included is an eight-inch Deluxe mattress in standard queen size. When folded up, the piece measures 92″ W x 40″ D x 38″ H and offers comfortable seating for three.
All our furniture is handmade to order and customized to your specifications. Beyond the option of specifying a wood and stain combination, we also offer one of the largest selections of upholstery choices thanks to our partnership with Heartland Fabrics. Upgrade to suede, leather or another premium option for a more luxurious look and feel that will easily impress your guests.
Need extra storage? Built-in drawers are available. Looking for a more compact option? We also offer the Amish Cortland as a chair, loveseat or full-size futon. Whatever your needs, we will work with you to customize your purchase as necessary.

Standard Residential Curbside Delivery is $249 per invoice and available to most zip codes in the contiguous United States. Your items will be delivered as close as possible to your home and unloaded from the truck. You are responsible for moving the furniture inside and all required assembly.
White Glove In-home Delivery is available for an additional $199. White Glove In-home Delivery includes the delivery company bringing your furniture into your home, placing it in the room of your choice, and fully assembling all pieces. We do not assemble baby cribs or furniture that must be mounted to the wall such as Murphy beds.
Your order may be picked up in person at our warehouse located in Smithville, Ohio if you prefer. Please bring a suitable vehicle and furniture blankets or wrapping material. Our furniture is not boxed or packaged in the warehouse.
If you are in Alaska, Hawaii, or outside of the U.S., please contact us for a shipping quote. The customer is responsible for all duty/customs fees.

Most of our furniture is delivered blanket wrapped by professional delivery companies. We partner with several Third-Party delivery companies that cover most of the Continental US. These professionals are well schooled in the handling and assembly of your Amish furniture.
All furniture should be inspected at time of delivery. Should you find that an item was damaged in shipping or defective in any way, we will, at our discretion, have the item repaired or replaced at no cost to you. We may request photos of the damaged or defective item. Damage claims are handled on a case-by-case basis.
